Weekly feature: Cryptic one-line entries

I pick the dumbest people to miss.

Current Mood: hungryhungry
Current Music: At his feet the six-winged seraph, cherubim with sleepless eye...
Veil their faces to the Presence, as with ceaseless voice they cry?

Yeah, I had to go look it up. Thought that sounded familiar. Then again, after I discovered it was a hymn, I realized the reason I thought it sounded familiar was due to science fiction, not any music I'd heard. Oh well.

You miss people who are dumb? Lacking cleverness? Lacking voice? Do you know ASL? Or way, perhaps your choice in people you miss is dumb - nearly unspeakably so?

Argharghargharghargh. Curiosity didn't kill the vac, but it did cause unnecessary gnashing of the turbos.

Hallelujah, hallelujah; Hallelujah, Lord Most High.

It's fairly esoteric, but a perennial favorite.

Your last hypothesis was accurate.

Re: Hallelujah, hallelujah; Hallelujah, Lord Most High.

Hmm, sounded like a line from "Many Waters," the Madeline L'Engle book.

Am also prompted towards curiosity, but do not expect a real answer.

Re: Hallelujah, hallelujah; Hallelujah, Lord Most High.

Should read that one. I love me some Madeleine L'Engle.

Incidentally, the real answer is almost certainly sitting not far behind your keyboard (or in front of it, depending on how you look).

Moral of the story: dozing off at one's computer table = disorienting.

It's too late for the A word, you ;)

In other news, I know I have no idea what you're talking about, but I probably emptahize.

The A word?

::feels thoroughly dumb::

::emptahizes renewedly::

- You realize it is only a matter of time before this turn of phrase sneaks into my speaking lexicon, and lexicological connivings will spread renewedly through all who hear me.
