thoughts and feels and thoughts and feels [userpic]

It was a good night last night.

Went over to Holt around ... well, the IM log says 9:30, but if that's the case, I was there for like EVER, just hangin' out in Thera's room, watching odd TV and playing FreeCell (I need to play more FreeCell, I kinda miss it.) Eventually went to the Bobber, because just when I had suggested it, DaveSwan and Kevin showed up and said "We're going to the Bobber!" Ended up being 12 at us at two tables across the aisle and an adjacent section of counterspace. Me, Tiffany, Dave, and Theron ended up staying rather later than everyone else (mm, coffee). I'm a dummy and left the entire money-related contents of my purse on my desk; fortunately, Dave had enough to cover the lot of us, but that meant we all went back to HP for reimbursement purposes, where we had a riot over an Inscape (good times during which I really clocked all 3 of them and myself as well.) Fell into bed just after 5:00 and woke up at 11:30 and couldn't really go back to sleep - possibly related to noisy people upstairs, but they finally shut up and I only dozed back off for a little while. Now have had my first omelette of the new semester and a bowl of Reese's Puffs, and am feeling much rejuvenated.

Today: need to run American Overture - I never *did* get the music via email, so I'm going to practice the original, I guess - and see if I can transfer Rondino to mello. Good times.

And I need to balance my checkbook, find my contract O_o, and go buy shoes (maybe)...

Did I ever tell you - the... I don't know, nurse?... at the eye doctor's knew about drum corps! (There was a space in the info sheet for "hobbies/athletics", so I put down corps.) Her husband marched with Phantom and teched Cavvies. Small world, ne? ;D

I find it interesting that both French and Japanese have a fairly oft-used form for a question that expects a 'yes' answer (the French "n'est-ce pas" and the Japanese "-ne".

Oops. Should probably give Theron his hat back.

Mwahahaha...
