Someone for Everyone

Today = magnet of weirdness. My whole day blew goats and may be discussed later (or never), except the following parts.

Ahi tuna salad with mango and HUGE chunks of avocado and good tangy salad greenness for lunch, plus apple walnut cobbler and ice cream. I <3 Houston's.... mmm.

Completely random people I saw today (the Someone for Everyone part)

Mr. Lee (SME, 8th grade geometry) - he recognized my face though could not remember my name; it's okay, 'cos it took me a while to place him too. Saw him on the way in to Houston's.

After eating, went to B&N and bought a really awesome journal. Sat around. Wrote in it. Gave a busking violinist (thought of you, Katie) a few dollars 'cos he sounded like he knew what he was doing, and was doing it well.

Drove back to Columbia. Bad things in the meantime. Upon arrival in Columbia, failed miserably to find restauraunt. Stopped at a gas station. Guy working looked just like a guy I worked with at Fazoli's this summer - because he WAS!

Went to dinner. Was about done when who should wander in but Josh (he of TTW fame.) Was, by this point, just waiting for someone else to show up I knew. Dinner was fab; got more free cups! Free cups are the deal. Driving around ensued. Good conversation, but not being able to find anything to do kind of sucked.

Went to Target to see main squeeze of Adam (aforementioned coworker). *Was* expecting to see her 'cos Adam said she would be there.

I kind of don't want to go to sleep. Who knows who'll show up if I stay awake longer!

On the other hand, maybe I better. The rest of the day sucked. And I need SLEEP.

Mmm. Sleep.

Current Mood: My eyes burn.
Current Music: some piano thing on Cailin's stereo.

Where'd you see Mr. Lee?

He was such a good teacher. Monotone, but good.

Re:

On the Plaza, in front of Buca di Beppo. I came round the corner and he was just standing there!

That was *so* weird. All the seeing-people, I mean.
