The bit about the breadsticks just sounds kind of wrong, doesn't it. Hmm.

Wheeeheeheehee!

I worked SEVEN hours today. It was way much better than yesterday. Perhaps (1) 'cos we weren't quite so busy and (2) because of that (or maybe certain scheduling reasons) everyone was in a better mood. :D And possibly also 'cos I knew what to expect. My feet are throbbing tired, but I don't ache like a mofo like I did when I got home last night. I still feel halfway like a civilised human being, at least.

I think they're really running shorthanded at the moment. I was supposed to be learning cash today, but in general I was too busy making salad and occasionally doing cashiers' nefarious bidding (often involving breadsticks). Then I did turnover on the salad stuff. And then after break (which was too short 'cos I stopped to make peoples' salads *after* i clocked out) I went straight back and did prep. (I also learned just why it's so good to take your break late. I wanted to go as long as I could before going on break so I didn't have much time to get cranky before I went home. But then I learned that "eleven till five" means "eleven until prep is done, maybe 5:30 or 6 or even later." I don't mind. Maybe I'll get overtime. :D Failing that, at least I'll get paid.)

So, I'm sure you wanted to know that. I'll let you know if anything actually exciting happens. I'm just happy; I'm glad the workers are actually as weird and fun as they seemed to be when I visited. :D :D :D
