thoughts and feels and thoughts and feels [userpic]

I just read an article on MSNBC that was posted - I kid you not - like 90 seconds before I clicked to read it.

The material was nothing much new, but the link still said "We don't know about Ohio yet" and the article said "Okay, we know about Ohio now!"

It makes me wonder if that was supposed to be accessible to the public yet, because the main page *and* broadcast NBC both still say Ohio's not certain.

Anyway, that was kinda cool.

There are still a bunch of people in Ohio waiting to vote (yes, more than 6 hours after polls were supposed to close). Not sure if it's enough to matter, but no one's supposed to say anything about any of the states where the polls haven't closed.

Out of curiosity, who did they say had Ohio?

Bush.

::sigh::

He is ahead, but not by much and there are still 18% of the votes out there.

Have just spent three hours at Steak n' Shake happily oblivious to the world. When I left Bush had a lead. When I came back the headline on the TV was "Kerry Victorious" or something - I was really sleepy and it took me a while to figure they were just talking about Minnesota. I had been thinking I go to SnS and when I come back there's a new president! maybe I should do that more often...

Keep doing it. It's still really close.

I opened this window at 8:30 and promptly fell asleep until about 8:58 (and I had to register at 9).

Unfortunately it appears that Events have transpired since then. :/

I did the same thing, only I had to register at 7. Then, when the computer belched back at me that it was TOMORROW not TODAY, I went back to sleep.

I had to go to class. ::weeps::
