why yes, i *do* like the sound of my own voice [userpic]

I have just sat in the lobby for more than 3 hours drinking coffee and carrying on. A full two of those hours were spent in nearly strict dialogue consisting solely of adverbs.

"Heinously."
"Ridiculously."
"Absurdly. Extremely."
"Hellaciously. Horrendously."

...

"Linearly."
"Circularly."
"Longitudinally."

A full A-Z of adverbs was done probably around 11:30 in the spirit of capping off the discussion, but the discussion would not quit.

However, the favorite lines of the night were not adjective-related.

"What time are we leaving tomorrow?"
"How's your mom thirty?"

I dozed off near the end and dreamed that I was swimming in a backyard and thought Hey, if I just use two whole-tone scales I'll get all the adverbs and we can quit doing this! Unfortunately I had confused adverbs and pitch classes.
