Catch-up part 2, etc.

Went to the mall today and succeeded in buying a dress for SAI formal rush for $10.48. I'm going to have a bit of a job covincing them it's a formal dress, but... oh well.

I'm also going to have a bit of a job finding my schedule... ::gets a bit worried about this::

I also haven't bought my books yet... ::a bit worried about this too::

But I ate some yummy orange chicken today.

New years' eve I drove stealthily to St. Louis and Joy's house. We first had fun decorating the tree in delightfully random ways. Much to my surprise we then ended up going to dinner with an ever-increasing number of Joy's friends and friends of friends. We went to Caleco's somewhere in South County. Joy had chicken alfredo or something which was really yummy. I had a salad, which was so gross I couldn't finish it. :P After these festivities we proceeded to Danny Livengood's where we had many good times playing (Outburst?), writing New Year's resolutions (11. Eat somewhere other than the Mabee at least 3 times a week) and drinking sparkling grape juice which was unfortunately not kosher.
Tuesday morning was Christmas (in the particular living room I was sleeping in.) Festivities were had by all. I managed to put off getting dressed until a ridiculous hour, after which we went to OfficeMax to see if Daniel had been told of the imminent dinner-eating festivities. Then we congregated at Daniel's house where we drank more non-kosher sparkling grape juice, took turns wearing the cool mobster hat, and watched Final Fantasy (I think...::bonk self::). I also bench pressed 90 pounds. Repeatedly. And was very proud of myself. ::buff aura::
So then we went to Pasta House. I ate lots of their delicous salad and rolls - and some baby cow pasta ;) and learned the history of the Butte/butt pirate. Which might possibly be always funny if one was rather trashed... for the time being, I am saddened to learn that it is gradually replacing the 'your mom' of yore. ::hopes 'Feed it to the duck!' does not go the same way::
The next morning I eventually went home... the end.

I didn't mean for the retelling to be so anti-climatic... it's probably the result of a stiff neck. And the fact that I have classes tomorrow. >:( I think I'll go to bed. :p

Current Mood: stiff
Current Music: I'm a bitch, I'm a tease, I'm a goddess on my knees, when you hurt, when you suffer, I'm your angel undercover...

Things that are never funny.

Butte pirates. Never funny. Not even a little bit.
